Dimensions and Geography Zones
Every area of the game is part of a dimension, with the first dimension being a familiar version of earth. Each dimension can largely be accessed offline as a single player experience, although not all events will be active for offline players.
The areas are also broken into multiple types of โZonesโ that change based on multiplayer mechanics.
Common Areas- These areas can be accessed through single player, party mode, and general online play. An instance of the area is created for solo players and party groups, and there are multiple instances for general online, with the ability to hop into different servers to have a different group of players. Common areas can be safe or non-safe areas, with villages and towns falling into โSafe common areasโ.
Wild Areas- These areas are only part of general online play, having all active players shown on a single instance. These areas are lawless, allowing for player on player violence, and usually also have CPU threats.
Raid Areas- Raid boss areas are โgeneral onlineโ spaces, only allowing a certain number of players to enter.
Dungeons- Dungeons are accessible in solo and party play. Entering a dungeon area creates an instance of that dungeon, and non-party players cannot enter or effect that instance. These are meant to encourage teamwork, team-building, and problem solving, made to be difficult or impossible to clear solo.
These dungeons often have their own bosses and other threats, and good loot. Dungeons are hidden around the various dimensions,
Plots- Plots are owned by players, and can only have a single instance. You can only access these in general online, where all players are connected. If you trespass on their land, then the owner can see you if they join, possibly killing or attacking you.
With permission (or possibly with adequate stealth) you can use these plots to rest and set a spawn point.
